Even at night, nothing stands still in Zug. Whether after an after-work meeting, a cosy evening on Lake Zug or after an EVZ match: the ZVB will take you home safely and comfortably on the night express or the night star line.
Everything you need to know regarding the time change

From Saturday night to Sunday night.
The clocks will be set back from 3 am to 2 am during the night from Saturday to Sunday.
- The Zug Night Express will run twice that night between 2 am and 3 am (from Zug and back):
once on summer time and once on winter time. It’s best to check the online timetable. - The Nachtstern N9 will run twice from Lucerne railway station at 2.30 am:
1 x on summer time, only as far as Beinwil
1 x on winter time, going as far as Reinach - On the N5 service, an additional journey from Brunnen to Zug at 2.04 am will be offered following the change to winter time.
The following services run from 3.00 am during winter time.
Tip for bus stops
Make sure you are clearly visible in traffic and at bus stops during the darker months of the year.
The easiest way to do this is to wear reflective clothing; it can also help to briefly wave your mobile phone screen or camera at bus stops. Thank you for your cooperation.
Nachtexpress Zug: On Friday and Saturday nights, six Nacht Express lines operated by ZVB run from 1 a.m. to around 5 a.m. in all directions throughout the canton of Zug. There is a night network with direct connections and links to trains and other night buses. Region Lucerne: In the canton of Lucerne, ZVB operates the N9 line in the Passepartout fare network's night network. The line runs three times a night on Friday- and Saturdaynights between Lucerne, Hochdorf, Beinwil am See, and Reinach AG. Click here for the Passepartout fare network's.
