FAIRTIQ and go
With the FAIRTIQ app, you always get the right ticket,
without the hassle of studying fares.
Before boarding public transport, the passenger presses "Start" in the app
and immediately has a valid ticket for all public transport in Switzerland.
Preferences for Half Fare Travelcard and class are set during the previous, one-time
registration. Once they arrive at their destination, a further click
ends the journey. The app recognises the route travelled based on the location
and calculates the optimum ticket. If the value of a single journey exceeds the price
the price of a day pass, the customer only pays the cheaper fare - a fair ticket.

The FAIRTIQ app uses location localisation to automatically determine the boarding and alighting locations and the route travelled.
- The FAIRTIQ app automatically calculates the cheapest fare for the route travelled.
- If you forget to check out when you get off, FAIRTIQ will remind you.
- Customers can pay simply and securely with Mastercard, Visa, Twint, Postfinance and Reka card. All you need to do is register once and then simply use the FAIRTIQ app.
- If the value of your single journey exceeds the price of a day pass, you automatically pay the cheapest fare.
- The receipt is simply sent to you by e-mail.
- FAIRTIQ with a foreign mobile phone: works perfectly, but requires a mobile data connection. The amount of data required is very small and should generally not exceed 1 MB per hour. The costs are also very low. Just note that other apps do not consume any data (WhatsApp, Spotify, YouTube etc.)

Fast, convenient and intuitive: in collaboration with FAIRTIQ, the ZVB and other partner companies are taking part in a practical test of the innovative Be-in/Be-out technology (BIBO). This function is intended to enable an automated and seamless travel experience in the future.
The principle of BIBO is simple: the ticket is automatically activated in the background without the need for manual swiping. This creates a "GA comfort" feeling for everyone. The market test under the name FAIRTIQ Go will initially start with a closed test group.
