Into the night

Even at night, nothing stands still in Zug. Whether after an after-work meeting, a cosy evening on Lake Zug or after an EVZ match: the ZVB will take you home safely and comfortably on the night express or the night star line.

Every Friday and Saturday night, six ZVB night express lines run from 2 a.m. in all directions in the canton of Zug. In the canton of Lucerne, the ZVB operates the N9 night star and runs three times a night at weekends between Lucerne - Hochdorf - Beinwil am See (- Reinach AG).

Zuger Nachtexpress 2025: At weekends, the night buses now run at 1 am, 2 am and 3 am from Zug, Bahnhofplatz. Even more stops will be served and boarding and alighting will also be possible on the return journey. The result is a night network with continuous connections until around 4 a.m., ensuring connections to the RegioExpress and other night buses. All routes are listed in the "Zuger Nachtexpress 2025" PDF. The timetables can be found here .
