Customer satisfaction survey 2025

To check the satisfaction of our passengers and the performance of the public transport services ordered, regular quality checks are carried out.

The Lucerne Transport Association (VVL), the cantons of Uri, Obwalden and Nidwalden and Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe (ZVB) are jointly conducting a survey on service quality and customer satisfaction in public transport by train and bus from 18 August to 19 October 2025. The aim of the survey is to find out how satisfied our passengers are with the public transport service and our services and where there is room for improvement.

If you are selected and approached by the survey staff, we would be delighted if you would take part in the survey!

 

Flyers will be distributed on buses and trains from 18 August to 19 October 2025.

  • These flyers contain the individual access data for the online survey.
  • Participation on paper or by telephone is not possible.
  • All passengers aged 16 and over are eligible to take part.
  • YouGov Switzerland survey staff will randomly select the passengers who receive a flyer.

  • Your answers will help us to improve public transport in Central Switzerland in line with your needs.
  • In addition, all participants who complete the survey will have the opportunity to take part in a prize draw for 25 public transport vouchers worth CHF 250 each.

Please note the following entry conditions for the prize draw:

  • Minimum age 16 years; only one entry per person is permitted.
  • Public transport employees are excluded from participation.
  • No correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize draw.
  • Legal recourse is excluded; no cash payment possible.
  • Personal details (surname/first name/email) will only be used to notify the winners and will then be deleted.

  • Participation in the survey and all information is voluntary.
  • Your answers will be recorded anonymously , i.e. they cannot be attributed to you personally.
  • During the flyer distribution, the survey staff will also ask for your personal data (e.g. name, telephone number, e-mail address).
    This information is of course also voluntary.
  • It is used by YouGov Switzerland solely for quality assurance purposes and to remind you to complete the online questionnaire if necessary.
    This information will not be passed on and will not be linked to your answers in the survey.
  • If you wish to take part in the competition at the end of the survey, you will also be asked for personal details (name, e-mail address). This information will also be recorded separately from your survey responses. They will only be used to contact you if you win.
  • All personal information you provide will be deleted after the survey has been completed. Data protection is guaranteed at all times.

Customer satisfaction survey

Satisfied customers make us happy. We regularly carry out a detailed survey to measure customer satisfaction.

The most recent survey was conducted in summer and autumn 2021. The results are very pleasing. With an overall score of 81, the ZVB is at the top of the league table in Central Switzerland.
