New bus depot being planned

Together with Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe AG, the Ländli Foundation is planning the Ländli Park project on part of its site in Oberägeri.

In Oberägeri, the Ländli Foundation is planning to build 108 flats in the affordable segment. The project also integrates the future ZVB bus depot, which is currently located in the village centre at the Oberägeri bus stop. The relocation to the edge of the village will free up important space for the further development of the village centre.

The architectural competition for the Ländli Park construction project has been completed and the winning project was presented to the public on 5 April 2025. The development plan is expected to be decided at the end of 2026 and the construction project will then be drawn up (building permit).

For the population

The ZVB would like to further develop its central property in the interests of the population. It is offering the municipality part of the site for the realisation of the care centre. It would like to build family flats on the remaining area itself.

The municipality is planning a new, barrier-free transfer point on Poststrasse, for which the ZVB is providing land.

In order for the ZVB to fulfil its mission and meet the growing demand for mobility, it needs a modern and larger infrastructure. The "Ländli Park" construction project, which provides for the integration of the bus depot, solves the ZVB's operational requirements.

Indicative project

The plan is to develop an illustrative example project by the 4th quarter of 2025 that shows how the goals defined in the overarching plan could be realised in concrete terms. This project is intended to serve as a guide and visualise possible solutions.

Preliminary project

The plan is to draw up a preliminary project by the 4th quarter of 2027, which will examine the feasibility of the intended realisation in depth and contain initial concrete solutions. This will serve as the basis for further project development and decision-making.

Building project

The aim is to draw up a construction project by the second quarter of 2028 that provides all the technical, legal and design foundations for realisation. It will form the basis for the approval process and subsequent realisation.

Authorisation

The aim is to obtain all the necessary authorisations by the 4th quarter of 2028. The project would then be legally secured and ready for implementation, including all the necessary approvals.

Start of implementation planning

Implementation planning is scheduled to start in the 2nd quarter of 2029. In this step, the technical details for implementation will be finalised and preparations for construction will be initiated.
