Bus depot planned in Rotkreuz
In order to efficiently accommodate the future volume of traffic in the Ennetsee region, additional bus parking capacity is needed. The ZVB is therefore planning the construction of a bus shelter in Rotkreuz.
The Ennetsee region is growing, and the demand for mobility is increasing accordingly. In order to accommodate this growth and expand its public transport services, the ZVB needs additional bus parking spaces in this region.
The ZVB is planning to build a modern bus depot on its own site at Riedstrasse 22 in Rotkreuz. The future depot will enable the expansion of electromobility and thus emission-free bus operations. It will also contain recreation rooms and cloakrooms for the drivers. Commercial space for rent will be realised on the upper floors.
Planning began in 2024 with a public tender for the selection of planners. The submission by the architecture firm Mozzatti Schlumpf AG from Baar with the transport planning office Viaplan AG from Sursee was the most convincing. The two offices were commissioned to plan the new depot in Rotkreuz.
Rental space from 2028
Modern office and commercial space totalling 1,200m2 will be created on the upper four floors. These are expected to be available for rent from 2028. Interested parties should contact Gebr. Oswald AG ZUG directly, who will take care of the letting.
