Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe AG night buses

There are regular night buses on lines 3, 6/4 and 11 even in the middle of the night. Passengers on these lines can take advantage of easy connections to the night Intercity trains from and to Zurich and Lucerne.

Getting on
Lines 1 – 4:
Zug station square, from bus stop for ZVB lines 1 and 2.
Departure: 2:00 am

Line 5:
Zug Chollermüli
Departure: 1:45 and 2:45 am
Getting off: Any bus stop along the relevant route.
Tickets:Any tickets from the Tarifverbund Zug ticket association and all national tickets are valid. A surcharge of CHF 5.00 is applied.

You need a valid ticket for your journey from the starting point to the destination. All connections after 1:00 am are subject to an additional "Zurich – Zug – Lucerne night surcharge" of CHF 5.00. This is based on the train departure times from Zurich HB (main railway station) or Lucerne.

If you change in Zug (from Zurich or Lucerne), you only need to pay the Nachtexpress surcharge once.
